In Prague, I worked on an international art festival called TINA B - an acronym for "This is Not Another Bienalle." Tina B. emerged on the art scene as a fictional female character who morphed her image each year to attract fans of contemporary art to Prague. The exhibit consisted of a series of international exhibitions, performances, and installations throughout the city as well as hosting educational activities and other special events.
TINA B. pursued an innovative concept of presenting contemporary art in unconventional places outside the traditional venues such as museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions. Various exhibitions were presented at historic and prestigious locations throughout the centre of Prague and the surrounding area during the seven-week festival. Artworks by approximately 90 artists from countries including Canada, Finland, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Japan, Sweden, and the United States, as well as by local Czech artists, were on view.
I worked as a curator, artist, art coordinator and designed the catalogue.
Memory books are the perfect way to remember and capture the spirit of an individual loved one who has died.
They can hold some of the most precious memories and life stories of a special person in your life and keep the memories alive while celebrating the life of your loved one. Whether you want to make one for yourself so that you can share these treasured memories with family and friends- now, and for many years to come. or your family, you will be delighted at the powerful effect it can have on survivors.
As part of our initial consultation, we will help you to determine the actual size and scope of your collection, as many people are not fully aware of what exactly comprises their visual history. Many people have boxes of photographic prints left to them by their parents, slides, and prints of their own childhood and assorted photographs collected over time. We are able to scan these photographs, memorabilia, and slides into digital format files.
At all stages of your project, we will work closely with you on an individual basis in order to best meet your needs, and ensure that you will get the most out of your photographs.
